I think we were better off with the coldwar still going.

Atlest we were getting great fights.

    Coldwar
    Matthyse Vs Garcia
    Broner Vs Maidana
    Mayweather Vs Canelo

    Coldware over
    Pacquiao Vs Algeri
    Mayweather Vs Maidana 2
    Broner Vs TBA
    Garcia Vs Sulka

I mean in the end, Pacquiao is still fighting in house Top Rank fighters and it looks like Bradley might fight Provodo in a rematch.....in house fight
Rios is still fighting a Top Rank guy
And Al Haymon has Garcia and Broner fighting nobodies.

I mean, what has it accomplished so far?

The coldwar is still going strong. Top Rank fighters and Golden boy fighters still aren't fighting each other.

So after years of this being an issue you can't give it more than a month? Let's see what happens.

Also, Algieri and Chaves aren't with TR. Neither is Ruslan I don't think.

A Cold War is never a good thing.. I much prefer the top guys fighting each other as opposed to fringe contenders in showcase fights

              1) Manny is fighting Algieri BECAUSE the cold war ISN'T over yet. If Arum had access to GBP's jr.WW/WW stable, he wouldn't let Algieri anywhere near Manny.

              2) Floyd vs Maidana II has nothing to do with whether the cold war is over or not. Floyd officially isn't a GBP fighter, and he has repeatedly stated that he will never work with Arum.

              3) Garcia vs Salka also has nothing to do with the cold war. GBP has a lot of good jr. welters and welters. Garcia is simply taking a soft touch after a terrible performance.

              4) Broner needs some serious rebuilding and a style rehaul. Of course he is not fighting anyone decent. Again, what does the cold war have to do with it?

It still is going. If Oscar is serious about making cross-promotional fights, than this is the inevitable rough period while he gets his company in order. It was always going to happen no matter how the Cold War ended, assuming it has ended.

I mean, did people really expect that the second Schaefer left, TR and GB would sing every fight incredible fight we want? There's still a lot to sort out. Oscar isn't even sure who he has under contract, how is he going to make fights for them against TR fighters?

Who does Oscar have besides Canelo? Everybody is signed to Haymon.
