MANCHESTER - Heavyweight star Tyson Fury will be fighting this weekend despite the cancellation of his world title eliminator with Dereck Chisora.

After enduring yet another major setback following the cancellation of the Chisora bout, due to the Londoner fracturing his left hand, Fury is actively in the process of finding a replacement alongside Hennessy Sports and Queensberry Promotions to ensure that he competes on Saturday night’s show at the Phones4U Arena in Manchester.

At least September is still a relatively short wait for a fight.

Further fuel for the hype that Chisora pulling out really had nothing to do with being injured. No way could he heal from a broken hand and train in time for a fight in September unless he plans on getting wasted in one round or something. I call complete BS.

Oh nice well come on then Mick Hennesey offer Tony Thompson or Luis Ortiz the cash for a fight before its too late!

I get the feeling it will be a soft touch he will fight oppose to the bigger names who offered to step in at short notice.

This will be interesting to see who they can dust up. Lots of journeymen out there, of course.

I thought the same. Fractured hand sounds like more than a couple months off.

                Never happening in September.

Two months to heal/train/re-promote? I doubt it.

                Late October/November at the earliest.

Yep, Fury is going on holiday in August for starters.

If the fight takes place in September you can be 99% sure that Chisora is a coward and a liar.
