Comments Thread For: Adam Booth: Perez Ready For Anything Jennings Brings

Heavyweight Mike Perez (20-0-1, 12KOs), a Cuban fighter from Ireland, added some more international flavor to his corner when he hired British trainer Adam Booth, who is best known for his work with David Haye and George Groves.

Perez looked impressive during last November's decision victory over Magomed Abdusalamov, but then put in a lackluster performance in his ten round majority draw with Carlos Takam in January.

I definitely have a feeling Perez wins- by KO or decision. I like both guys, but I hope Jennings pulls it out.

Perez is tougher, stronger and technically superior, the only question marks are Jennings reach and Perez's ability to mix after the beating he inflicted upon Mago.he looked as though he didnt like being punched during the Takam fight,I suspect because,he couldn't shift Takam he began to fear the damage he himself could take in due process.something like that anyway, difficult for me to explain what I mean.

Perez may have the amateur pedigree but I think Jennings is the better boxer with more natural talent. I think his movement, reach and work rate will be too much for Perez. Jennings wins by ud.
