Maidana was billed by so called experts as this crude brawler that Floyd could pull a Baldomir on. It just simply did not go like that because Chino is better than advertised.

I think Floyd tries to move alot more in the rematch... and try to do a better job against Chino's feints. Chino on the other hand is planning on coming in lighter which to me = more stamina. He's also fought Mayweather is the younger man and is smarter than advertised. He will come in confident he can land on Floyd, he will also have the advantage of training in the gloves he's going to use. ADD extra stamina to that and I give him a good shot to shock Floyd at some point in the fight. He needs to visibly hurt Floyd which he only somewhat did last time. If he can make Floyd do the "booty dew" it will go a long way to getting him a decision. Scoring fights.. after all.. is about perception. And visibly hurting Floyd shifts the perception of the fight.

Counter floyds pull counter and jab him to death. Work the body early often and through out and ko will or booty will come. Floyd like slow pretty fight from a hesitant fighter. Maidana is old school and he is coming to win .

They may decide on volume, or they may decide on less volume and target specific areas and throwing harder punches in the hopes of wearing down Mayweather.

Floyd is not going to be moving as much. And the change in his strategy will involve being able to fight better off the ropes and also fighting in close quarters.

It's so ******. I would laugh at those predictions for days before the first fight, and just shake my head.

He is apparently a Baldomir carbon copy, that was going to get Gatti'd.

People just really don't know boxing, or just don't want to stop being fanboys and want to argue facts.

More than any fight other than maybe the Canelo/lara fight to an extent, this really exposes who does and who doesn't know about this sport, the straws people have been reaching for against Maidana, it's just crazy.

It will be a very good test of how good ariza actually is. maidana is going to have to be more active than last time if he isn't then it shows that ariza really is that good. If on the other hand he is more active and doesn't flag as much as last time then ariza is ... to use a comon phrase around here ... EXPOSED

Higher work rate is certainly the key. Some would argue he even won the first bout, so he'd obviously try to raise it even more. The question is can he sustain it for later rounds given there is no Ariza?
