Comments Thread For: Thomas Dulorme Eyes Mauricio Herrera Showdown

BoxingScene.com caught up with junior welterweight contender Thomas Dulorme (21-1, 14KOs) shortly after Mauricio Herrera (21-4, 7KOs) captured the WBA junior welterweight interim title in Las Vegas on the Canelo Alvarez-Erislandy Lara pay-per-view undercard.

While most of the world was focused on the main event, Dulorme revealed that he was most interested in Herrera's title winning performance against Johan Perez.

Dulorme actually matches up well with Herrera style wise while Danny Garcia did not. Dulorme throws crisp, straight punches and holds and moves when he has to. This could actually serve to frustrate Herrera who usually fights as the spoiler with his smothering high volume punching style. Not a great action fight from a fan's perspective but interesting nonetheless. Big question mark is Dulorme's effectiveness late in the 12 rounder.

Herrera beats him in a pretty clear decision. I wouldn't mind it on an undercard if Danny Boy won't give him the rematch he deserves.

Abregu, Mayfield and Herrera (if it happens). Not a bad string of opponents.

all you PR guys need to get behind Dulorme, instead of Swift. Especially if he knocks off the 140 lb. king Herrera

                  ..............

Dulorme only has a punchers chance. I think Herrera will give him tons of problems with his pressure.

Herrera by Decision IF he does not gets KO'd!
