Which fight would do better on PPV, Cotto/Chavez Jr or Cotto/Canelo?

      People forget that Chavez/Martinez did 500k the same night Canelo was fighting on regular Showtime.

      I think Chavez/Martinez would have done 700-900k if Canelo wasn't fighting that night.

        Chavez Jr is a popular fighter but I think the clear answer is Cotto/Canelo. Remember, Chavez/Martinez did very well (475,000 buys) but it was also on Mexican Independence Day and for the MW title of the world. That fight was highly anticipated. Cotto/Canelo would be a major event on Cinco de Mayo or Mexican Independence Day.

        There were only four PPVs in 2012. We've already had five PPVs in the last five months this year.
