Mexicans? You mean LSC? Then I agree. The kid is afraid to even step up against Frampton whom was chasing him down for so long. Whatever Rigo needs to do he needs to do it soon, he is getting older and it's a shame what TR did to him in his prime years. I'm sure he has enough talent to extend his reign for a few more years but the popular fighters at 122 might be moving up.

I dont know whether Rigo is willing to move up to 126 but the jump isn't a mere 4 pounds. Men at 126 are usually quite tall as opposed to 122 and they are much bigger in terms of body frame. Rigo is already a tiny Super Bantamweight so although 126 is lucrative due to the juggernaut names that currently reside there, I believe they too will be moving up quite soon. Rigo is in a tough predicament as time steadily trickles past, if he doesn't pressure his opponent he won't catch them before they move up. If he moves up he will be at a physical disadvantage and most lucrative fighters might be gone. The best thing he can do is either stay at 122 and do what he is doing(applying pressure) while remaining active and fighting good names to stack up his record. Or move down to 118 where other good names and worthy fights reside.

All due respect, he is 25, and when has 25 ever been "developing young star" territory instead of "physical prime" territory?

Hearns was 22 when he fought Leonard the 1st time.
Oscar was 23 when he fought Chavez 1st time.
Leonard was 24 years old when he fought Duran the 1st time.

25 years old, 28 fights, he is done developing. He is what he is, if he isn't ready now, he will never be ready.

Rigo is an old guy with half the fights he has what could ever go wrong

LSC is an average fighter. He has long punches with little power, slow feet and poor head movement.

He has been beating up smaller guys who aren't very good, this time he would be in with a smaller guy who is the worlds best, and who would annihilate him.

I'm a Rigo-tard and was actually laughing at Quigg.

I've noticed how they build up Quigg as a "World Champion" and talk about unifications and these other bouts, whilst ignoring Rigondeaux as if he doesn't exist even though he is the true WBA champ at that weight. I find it comical Quigg even call himself a world champion.

I wish I could green k Rigo, truer words are rarely spoken. Unifications should be made mandatory: after four defenses (two mandos) you have to fight another belt holder. Or something like that..

Rigo needs to start, being more aggressive, he doesn't have to abandon his style, but he needs to be more aggressive.
He just WAS 'more aggressive' in his most recent fight a few days ago.

Actually, the ref skroo-ed up by not allowing Kokietgym proper time to recover from the headbutt. And as for sucker punch that's b.s. "Protect yourself at all times". Ever heard that? And don't even try to compare this to Floydie sucker punching Ortiz. Not even remotely the same.
