That's just it... Floydie fanboys act like Maidana is nothing... probably because Floydie says so. Yet how many have beaten up Floydie like that? And don't forget that dazed look on Floydie's face at the end of round 4 in his corner.

He was just bringing up the fact of what happened. Big difference between that and wishing Floydie get struck by a passing car or whatever.

He talk "DISRESPECT" from Floyd, well in fact, he first disrespect floyd during the build-up of the first fight. What a "WHINER"!

Again, im not a floyd fan and never will be, but i do hope Floyd will put a beating to this ARGENTINIAN CLOWN" He's pretty annoying this time
Ah yes, another Floydie fanboy who doesn't even have the stones to admit it. Don't think so? Then why call a fan friendly boxer/brawler a clown? Talk about disrespect.

I may be missing the point completely here but...

What has PPV figures got to do with 'respect'?

Forgive me, but if people understood the actual definition of 'respect' then this would be a much easier debate.

'Respect' has many different cultural meanings, so it will have a different meaning to an Asian, African American, Hispanic or Caucasian person.

For Floyd 'respect' is entrenched in the African American 'Street definition' - that having money must demand respect. All his other BS is irrelevant, if Floyd was flat broke then he would not be 'demanding' respect.

For Maidana it is different, I would guess that there is more value on being honest and 'stand-up'. Hispanic people are fiercely proud, regardless of financial position.

I know that I am generalizing to a point, but it is fair to say that Floyd Mayweather is a good example of how many young black, American males define as successful - purely on his accumulated wealth and he how uses intimation and power to influence key stake-holders in the boxing business.

I am not making this a racial issue - but it is worth factoring in what 'respect' means to different types of people. It is like saying 'happiness' means the same thing to all people. It is much more complex than that.

Team Maidana has been crushing Floyd during this promotion. Poor Floyd. I know how sensitive he is. He should pay somebody to give him a hug.

Chino and Garcia will have more excuses after the fight. They'll probably complain he needs his magic gloves to sign the check Floyd is giving him for this fight.....
