the young generation is the best part, I just hope they don't stay in Japan and beat up on Asian, c class fighters for a living like their predecessors did.Comment

I like the Japanese prospect state of mind. Fight the best opposition you can and chomp down fellow prospects to reach the high points in boxing. In our side of the world they groom fighters until well into their mid 20's with a padded record of 20 or even 30 plus fights before making him step up, and even then they step up to some Bus Driver from Guatemala or some random Orange vendor trying to make ends meet. Out in Japan they pit young pit bull against young pit bull, put them in against good opposition in their first fights and such. That's a mentality I wish we adopted for our fighters in the West. That way we would see who is who and separate the gifted from a future gatekeeper.

Oh and that right hand doe. He is nice, rooting for a good future. Japan is scary at the moment in terms of young talent.Comment

Tanaka vs Hara fight on October 30. Very excited about that. If Tanaka wins I think well see him in with a world champion next time out.
Genki Hanai looks to be fighting Crison Omayao, someone dislikes the Filipino kid...Comment
