Zolani Tete is unlikely to defend his IBF super-flyweight title in South Africa.
The East London-born boxer won the vacant belt when he beat Teiru Kino****a in Japan last Friday and promoter Branco Milenkovic says Tete may look for a title unification fight.
Tete will now be in great demand but won’t be able to fight in his own country because there was not enough money to stage an IBF title bout in South Africa, Milenjkovic said.
