The fight most certainly wasn't close. The fact that the ref allowed Maidana to blatantly foul intentionally without penalizing him is the only thing that could be considered a challenge for Mayweather in that fight.

If anything Maidana knows he can win after the first fight, it won't be easy as he won 6 rounds in the first fight and got 2 ****ty scorecards but he has a chance. he needs the KO or a few KD's.

The money is of course a motivation (don't be fooled, he got more than 1.5 M for the first and will get more in this as well) but so is beating Floyd.

Lol @ "he won 6 rounds and got 2 *****ty cards". No one really believes that. Even the people like you who keep on repeating it.

I do believe he won 6 rounds, 1,3,4,5,8 and 12. Rounds 6 and 11 were also close.

I had it 7-5 Mayweather but i belive this fight wont be as close. Floyd will make the adjustments needed along with having a ref that wont let Maidana fight dirty. I see the rematch ending up 10-2 or 9-3 for Floyd.

7-5 to Floyd is also a fair score. You could be right about the rematch, the ref is important for sure, i can't see it being easy though as Maidana will bring it as he did in the first unlike RG and Canelo who made it a sparring match.

I honestly see a similar fight to the first or Maidana winning by KO or a few Kd's.

I give Maidana credit for utilizing dirty tactics as it was some what effective but I don't give points for illegal punches landed. So I only gave Maidana rounds 3, 5 and 8. Those are the only rounds he landed clean\legal punches. Round 3 could have gone either way at that. But Maidana gets no points for all the low blows and punches behind the head. And all of the "he showed Mayweather no respect" was just code for the fact that he showed no respect for the rules of the sport. So he gets no ring generalship points for fighting dirty either.

Maidana easily won round 1. Floyd was on the defensive all round and got outworked. Clear Chino round. As was 5 and 8. 3,4,6,11 and 12 are close rounds. Floyd did not win easily. 7-5 to Floyd is a reasonable score though.

Floyd is so good, you can't show him respect, you have to make it a fight, Chino was dirty with low blows but alot of the rabbit shots were because Floyd was moving his head, not Chino fault all the time. Floyd also dirty with holding and elbows, one time he had his hand over Chino's mouth ha.

You might not have liked it but at least Maidana didn't come to lose in a sparring style match like canelo did, he Froze vs Floyd IMO. Fighting Floyd is hard enough as it is, no need to make it easier by fighting a slow, no pressure fight like Floyd likes, you have to fight to your strengths, especially vs an ATG like Floyd.

I guess reading comprehension isn't your strong suit, since I wrote in the VERY next sentence that, "It was obvious that Morales was having trouble making 130 *hence the Raheem fight*, but that's where the REMATCHES took place anyway. I wonder why."

Now when I used the word "rematches", wouldn't that seem to indicate that I knew Pac and Morales had already fought once? Since you can't seem to understand basic English, I'll break it down for you again. Morales CLEARLY beat Pac in their first fight, went to 135 and looked shot against Raheem, and only THEN did Pac decide to fight him again. At 130lbs no less, which Morales could no longer comfortably make.

Like I said before, your theory that Pac beat Morales because he was allowed to use his "Clitoris" gloves, is complete horse**** as Erik looked shot in his previous fight. Try again, homie.

Oh wait... people were right on point about that lol...
LOL, you mean the Cotto @140 that Bob Arum deemed "too green" to fight Mayweather? Cotto wanted NO part of Floyd. When asked if he wanted a Mayweather fight in years past, Miguel himself admitted that, "I never pushed for it at any time before."

And speaking of Bobby, "Arum said while Mayweather would have taken the $8 million to fight Margarito, he asked for a $10 million guarantee to fight opponents such as Miguel Cotto and Ricky Hatton, when Arum was only willing to guarantee $7 million. And Bob didn't get Floyd the DLH fight because he, "would be working for such a small percentage, it's not worth it".

So Mayweather instead fought Judah in a marketable PPV fight, beat Baldomir to become the LINEAL welter champ, THEN beat DLH, earning 25mil in the process. But don't let the facts get in the way of your ignorance.
