Former two-time middleweight champion Daniel Geale (30-2, 16Kos) has felt the sting of being on the losing end of a close decision on two occasions in his career. While Geale believes he was the obvious winner in both defeats, he doesn't want to take any chances with the scoring of his upcoming fight against WBA/IBO middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin (29-0, 26KOs).
The HBO televised fight is scheduled for July 26th at New York's Madison Square Garden.
The last time Geale came to America, last August, he lost a close split decision and his IBF title to British fighter Darren Barker.
