On paper this is a garbage fight but i do agree with some of algirie's point..he has reach to fight from the outside, footwork to elude being at range and decent ring iq...might really be a fight manny cant look good in, makes it a bit intriguing.....just hope he does'nt pull a lara in there, its bad enough he doesnt deserve the fight...Comment

I think Algieri is more mechanical than free flowing. Manny is gonna hurt him with the right hook bad.Comment

I really don't get how long people expect a boxer to wait before they "deserve" a fight. I want to see some new names. Every boxing fan should.

Algieri is 30 yrs old and is in the prime of his career. He has fought professionally 40 times and has never been defeated Half of those wins in boxing where he is 20-0 and he became a World Champion by beating a bad ass dude he was a 5 to 1 underdog to and taking his title. Not only that but doing it in dramatic fashion that proved he has heart. It's an interesting fight. Contrast in opponents style for Pacman. You never know. Let's see what he's got now...why wait? If Algieri wins this fight in China then he's an overnight superstar. Fresh story for boxing.Comment
