I would favor Canelo above 152, anything lower than that would be ****** for Team Canelo to agree and i doubt it even happens.

i'd pick pac because canelo will be completely drained like dawson was against ward.

canelo can't even make 154 anymore and if he were to try and go down to 152 or even 150, then he'll be completely done.

Why is he a stylistic nightmare for Canelo? We already saw what is the stylistic nightmare for him: the slicksters like May or Lara. But he still beat (the Lara fight was tight but for me Canelo won) two of the worst stylistical opponents, namely Trout and Lara. Pac isn't as fast anymore as he use to be and he still doesn't like fight backwards, he likes to go forward, but not as effectively as few years ago and defensewise he was never great and now he's slower too and Canelo is a good counter fighter. So with all due respect I think 152 and above Canelo would easily beat Pac with explosive counters. I don't really see how Pac would beat Canelo now.

No, Pacquiao's defence is highly underrated, one of the best guard's in the sport. He is also very fleet footed, I'm a canelo fan but he's not the most fleet footed of guys. Pacquiao's movement would trouble a Canelo who would struggle to make the weight.

I just dont see the fight happening in reality cause Pacquaio will not give that much weight anymore after his scare with Margarito and Canelo knows he can not drop weight anymore then he is doing now.

But Canelo mainly struggles when his opponent try to move out his way and reach but against Pac he wouldn't have this problem. Pacquiao is clearly not a straight forward brawler, that's naturally not what I'm telling, but IMO he is more easy to hit than Lara. On the other hand Pac's power isn't enough to KO Canelo, who has a good defense too. Maybe he is not fleet footed but he has a good timing and this is why he is a good counter puncher. So I think this matc stylistically would be worse for Pac.

Actually I think Canelo will be the stylistic nightmare for Pacquiao. It's due to Canelo's size as well. I don't think a cw will hurt Canelo that much due to his youth but regardless, Canelo employs a counter punching style that enploys combinations. Pacquiao has a weakness towards those type of fighters.
