No need to take too much from 'The Gloves are Off'. Fury is his joking self, Vlad his cool and calculated self.
Much like it may look like in the ring.Comment

Would be better if 95% of it wasn't going over the same topics and arguments over and over though...
I think about 150 pages ago at least, I remember debating with Fury fans getting green k off them and it was a good, balanced and fair debate and telling the fight for what it is. In my view nothing has really changed, yet people are still recycling and if anything the Fury fans have become a bit deluded or exaggerated to say the least with some of their statements.Comment

Don't get me wrong, I think it's nice to see a heavyweight fight create this much attention, excitement and debate.

The exaggerations can not be help on their part, they need to the hyperbole to cling to something to believe their man actually has a chance, I won't knock them for retaining hope, it's the sense of zero reality I find peculiar though.
I loved the gloves are off, I thought it was hilarious. Wlad was actually really funny, the part where his face broke and he could barely contain his laughter I thought was out of character. Fury seemed agitated and appeared to grit his teeth that Wlad refused to accept the nonsense story he was telling, as if he was upset he would not go along with the hyperbole. Made great viewing, Wlad truly can not be ruffled.Comment

I think a lot of them are just soccer fans that come from supporting clubs that have been starved of success so they turn to the no.1 guy in their country in said respective division, which usually for the Brits simply does not equate to best in the world in the division. Don't get me wrong I have noting against blind patriotism, I just find it cringeworthy and nauseating, these Dirk's and Laced's of boxing scene are certainly fun to have around, I would not enjoy it half as much if they were not here.Comment
