I imagine Wlad will have been training for it the last few weeks where as Fury only knew about the spongy ring today.

The canvas did look soft.

But...

It didn't give either fighter an advantage IMO.

Fury's footwork could be hampered yes, but also a soft ring like that saps the legs of an older guy like Klitschko as well.
