If ONLY he'd just stop all the damn LYING!
Yes..this was his quote and evidence of thinking Wlad avoided Fury.....a newb fury as well check to see his best opponent up until meeting Wlad....

"I very much doubt what Wlad's saying is true.

Stewart made the kronk gym ffs. They are notorious for the mental sparring in the gym.

Also, Parker, Whyte, Joshua - Young, up and comers. No need to protect them from your brutal beating in sparring?

GTFO with that bs.' "LACED" up

yes furys weak mind at that time would never had been in jeaopardy with the great puncher Wlad ?...keep in mind this was years before Joshua beat him up. Meaning the liar thinks Fury's story of Wlad neglecting to spar him is true and wlads stance on Steward building fury's mental game up with other fighters is false....

Hey man, I'M convinced. And any reasonable guy following logic and reading the quote couldn't fail to miss it.

But in my experience with old LAcey here, he will try to find SOME WAY to spin things in his favour, even in a seemingly busted situation.

The cornerstone of all pathological liars.

Let's sit back and if you listen hard enough you can even HEAR Pinnochio's nose growing longer

Fury is almost guaranteed a ******.

In fact, size and colour aside, about the only other difference between Fury and that OTHER simpleton you support is that we can only ASSUME Fury is a minder whereas Ali was proven to be as intelligent as a chimp!

Fury's easy to ridicule and make fun of, but if you listen to the substance of what he says and learn when to take him seriously and when not to he comes up with some remarkably salient things. He was the only one in that interview who really came up with anything of substance, and he clearly understands the challenge in front of him completely, as witnessed by his refusal to get baited into Wlad's trap (I've got a glass chin, I get beaten by bums etc).

Fury knows people will always look on him as an idiot and uses it to his advantage. When you consistently underestimate someone it's easy to leave yourself open. Wlad to his credit kept things close to his chest, but his rebuttals at times were Joshua Clottey esque in their lack of effectiveness or imagination.

I've seen Tyson Fury discuss lightweights from 100 years ago.

I don't think Wlad could do that. He even said he hadn't seen much of Tyson Fury before.
He could have been lying or trying to wind Fury up. One thing Wlad can't be faulted for is his preparation. But in order to prepare you need to understand the challenge in front of you, and I'm not sure Wlad fully comprehends what Fury's going to bring to the table. Still, you have to give him the benefit of the doubt considering how often he's done this before and got it spot on. Chances are, he knows exactly what he needs to do to beat Fury.

But I can't shake the feeling that he might have got it wrong this time.

Wlad never undrestimates anyone,he usually sees himself as a target not the shooter...so both guys will be on point. the only thing I would take froma Wlad loss is that im Irish, however Wlad can beat any top 3 guy out there still....can fury...hes not a true dedicated in shape guy.....hes just not. For this fight he will be but really how seriousl;y after beating Wlad would he be?

I give fury about a 15 % chance winning that's about it. I did raise it from 10%.

Fury is the only young fighter ever that needed protecting from Wlad's brutal sparring beating

Amateurs, journeymen, newbies, up-and-comers have all walked away completely fine. But Tyson Fury! His incredible weak mind needed protecting!!

As I said, you don't know very much about boxing, you're just very gullible.

                  • Tyson Fury has forgotten more about boxing than Wladimir ever knew.

So has Larry Merchant. Wlad KOs them both.
