The excuses in the papers the next day:
"Wladimir got old overnight."
Denium would be proud of you
It would be utterly magical if Fury could and did do that. I don't personally think it would go down that way but I could only imagine the speeches and trash talk of Fury immediately and forever after
It would be very worth it.

If i had to bet money, I'd probably go for a Wlad KO, but Fury is a live, live dog, and is certainly a tougher test for Wlad than guys like Pulev or Jennings.
I'd pick Fury to defeat any other HW, including Bum Squad Wilder. However he needs to fight a modern, massive HW like Ustinov or Wach to prove that he can handle the big lads. I know he can, but he needs to prove the haters wrong.

I am also one of the few it seems who is not totally convinced of Wilder after his victory over Stiverne. The mystery only seems to have thickened now, asking as many questions as were answered. In due time, if he pans out convincingly, I'll give him more credit.
Back on topic...
Well then we are nearly in agree here. Wladimir has never faced an opponent as long & hefty as Fury with accompanying speed, workrate and skills.
It could very well prove to be his toughest test. If he can take the punch, it's possible he could take the fight.
Wladimir is used to being the bigger man, and the only time he was ever outweighed+outtalled, the opponent was really a punch bag by comparison.
Don't worry, I'm calling Fury legit, so far I like what I've seen. He's answered more questions for me than has "Bum Squad" that's for ****in sure! LOL

But yes back on topic, people annoy me by claiming that Fury is a bum without providing any evidence or analysis.
"He punched himself in the face doe" - Fury has taken his boxing to another level since the start of his career.
"He got dropped by a cruiserweight doe" - The best punch USS has landed in his career, Fury got straight back up, pulled up his shorts and then put a savage beating on him. He was dropped more to bad footwork than anything else. He literally dropped his hands against Cunningham and ran at him. If people think Fury would fight likes of Wlad & Wilder the same wild way he fought USS, they know fook all about boxing.

Well I frown away when guys claim that Fury will walk over Wladimir, I don't really see that happening, but since you've already declared your position there, real analysis is possible...
On both counts your totally correct imo...
Those that think Fury is a chandelier based on that Cunningham incident and an unco based on that self-harming occasion are utter morons at best.
I don't think the guys that tout that garbage have ever really paid attention to Fury's complete performances or his development or the circumstances involved. They seem contempt just to laugh at the guy because he doesn't fit the picture of what they imagine a top boxer should look like.
But then the same guys will unashamedly promote Wilder as some kind of thrashing machine instead. Go figure!

Wilder is a mediocrity who hasn't much of a chance outside of a hail mary hook. Fury is clearly the biggest threat to Klit. He is bigger, stronger, longer reach, superior stamina/workrate, superior mover, overall more well rounded fighter. Anywhere the fight goes, whether is be on the outside or inside he is at an advantage. Not a huge puncher but plenty enough to crack Klit's glass mug. Unlike others he is supremely confident that he can destroy Klit. Unlike other he has the skill to outpoint Klit if it goes to the scorecards. His defense is quite good these days so I don't see Klit being able to land his big wide left hooks nearly as easily as he found the talentless, defenceless, cement footed Pulev. Although if he does take the odd shot he has to maintain his composure and answer back. If he comes in great shape(under 255lbs), he will be the one to finally
finish off Klit for good and maybe help bring HW boxing back to respectability.Last edited by KnockoutNed; 03-31-2015, 07:00 AM.
