He would have beat half the guys Wlad beat and the two would have cleaned house quicker than wlad is doing today. He most likely is more respected and we would have seen him k.o Haye.I don't think he would have been better as he was on decline with injuries it doesn't change his status either way.

    • Fury's a big guy so of course he hits hard but it's not as concussive as Wlad who even Fury said "can knock a brick wall down".

And btw, a prime Lewis absolutely destroys Wlad or Fury and I'm a big Klitschko fan. Vitali ate some vicious uppercuts which would kill Wladimir.

      I watched the Klitschko documentary a few months ago;
Vitali= Stone-> hard to mould but doesn't break easily
Wladimir= Clay-> easy to mould but weathers away more easily
Those were the words of their first ever coach who was a kickboxer as boxing was prohibited then.

H2H- Wlad a better boxer but Vitali is tougher so I'd fancy him to catch Wladimir however they made a promise to their mum that they would never fight. Wlad accomplished more im boxing though. Vitali A world champion in kickboxing too (like Povetkin) and was never knocked down.

I actually think Wlad now is better than Vitali. Hits harder, faster, and definitely more technical. Lewis got lucky with Vitali..

This aside, imagine if Wlad had Vitali's chin....

Strongly disagree, a passed his prime Lewis did serious damage. Lewis' bombs caused those potentially career ending cuts.

Agreed with every thing ,i watched the Vitali fight without volume and actually think Lewis only won one round in that fight.

How do envision him against Wladimir?

Will he turn southpaw and try replicate Sanders? Will he come out guns blazing?

Its really boggling my mind to what his approach will be.

We all know Wladimir's approach but I am intrigued to how Fury is going to fight this fight.

I guess we'll have to wait and see but what do you think?

I think he will box southpaw, give Wlad the centre of the ring and keep it long.

Initially at least, if that doesn't work he will try and turn it into a brawl. But I think he will try and box smart.

              • I believe Fury will test Wlad and take him out

                • Like I said in an earlier thread, Vaughn Bean was making Vitali miss at times.

I noticed that Vitali didn't have the best balance.

                  • Some of these fury fans are only fans of him because hes british like them. If he wasnt they wouldnt give to ****s about him.

                    Brits always overhype their fighters

                    • I agree with what Chisora said, I don't think Fury hits hard at all.

I genuinely don't think he's got anything for Wlad, he'll get knocked out inside 6.
