There's hardly a week that passes where we don't have to shake our heads (or hold our collective breath) over some bizarre, blind scoring in a boxing match from an either incompetent or corrupt judge. This has gotten to be the norm in boxing. These judges are far too numerous to name, and greatly effect the careers and futures of the brave warriors who have committed their lives to the sport we love.
Until a national boxing commission is established, comprised of reputable members with actual integrity and love of the sport...who have the power to hold incompetent judges accountable for their actions, these atrocities will continue without recourse. This commission could also establish some type of health insurance to protect all pro fighters and their families from injuries incurred within the ring.
