His brother Tommy Atlas murdered their grandmother. While in prison, Tommy killed a man by hitting him with a shovel while he was sleeping.

Teddy went to reform school for beating up his little sister. He threatened age 15 Mike Tyson with a gun to his head, went to Donny LaLonde's apartment with a gun intending to kill him, and stalked Shannon Briggs.

I don't always agree with what Teddy says, but he is soooo passionate about the sport. That is where his heart truly lies, and you have to like him for that.

He has some personal opinions that may offend some, especially when they are about particular fighters, but it is never a personal like or dislike about the fighter, it is more about something he see's the fighter indirectly or directly affecting the fairness of the sport he loves.

If there was a Federal boxing commission, I would like Teddy to have a seat on it.

He also got that long scar on his face from a knife fight. Well the guy he got into a fight with had a knife, don't know if Atlas did.
