Marcos Maidana (35-4, 31KOs) was expecting a lot more when he faced WBC/WBA welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. (46-0, 26KOs) in May. Based on Mayweather's pound-for-pound reputation, Maidana thought he was in for a much tougher fight. Mayweather still won more than enough rounds for a twelve round majority decision.

“In my first fight against Floyd, I learned that he’s not that great, he’s not that superhuman boxer everybody talks about. If I wouldn’t have been so anxious looking for the knockout, I would have beat him," Maidana said.

I like Maidana, but hes been making it seem based off his comments that Floyd was running around the ring and that he had to chase him down when thats not true at all. Floyd had his back against the ropes for 60% of that fight and looked like he lost his legs. And for the people who still think Maidana won, I guess you guys think lara beat Canelo last Saturday aswell because apprently winning 4 rounds early in a fight wins you the match according to people on here.
