    Rematch????

Should their be a rematch between Vargas and Mosley? The way I look at it Mosley wont make more money fighting anybody else except Mayweather and it looks like mayweather will go after oscar if both wins so I think their should be a rematch!!! and for all the people that will put in their 2 cent$ that nobody wants to see this fight, this just in over 400,000 PPV buys.

As far as I'm concerned, Mosley is more concerned about his legacy than money. Mosley turned down a third fight with Dela Hoya and went after Winky Wright. I'm sure Vargas would like a rematch but I have a feeling that Mosley will turn him down and pursue his career at 147.

If I was Mosley, I would go after the winner of Baldomir/Gatti and then once he has the WBC belt, he can have a final fight with Margarito or winner of Judah/Mayweather.

No way would I give Vargas a rematch. Not after he ducked Winky's demand for a rematch. Like Oscar said, it's finished business.

I didn't watch the fight, but it would be nice to see a re-match.According to **********.com Mosley would give Vargas a re-match but he wants it under his terms....so maybe it could be about money. It's just hard to believe because there were opportunities in the past when Mosley could have made more money on a fight but went the other route. I still think Mosley would win, he just too fast for Vargas so why not take on another match.(easy money for shane!)

The terms will be just as much in Vargas' favor as they are in Mosley's. Vargas can go to 160 and fight half a dozen people, Mosley is assed out if he doesnt land Mayweather - we know he wont fight Margarito.

I say yes it was a close fight up until the stoppage and Vargas was landing his straight right at will also Mosley just did not swell up like Vargas did.I think Vargas seemed to be fighting with more flare the last couple of rounds and was getting stronger toward the end.......a rematch would be another good fight I do believe.

I don't think, at this point, that Mosley should give Vargas a rematch. Vargas is discrediting Shane's win, still talkin' ****, and there's not much to gain for Mosley. He said before the fight that he was going down to 147, regardless of the outcome, so he had no intention of fighting Fernando again, even if he lost. Vargas makes excuses more than anyone I've ever heard, and I hope he doesn't get a rematch for that reason. Mosley's got a chance to line up some big fights at Welterweight, so he should go for it. Vargas actually may have improved his stock, and getting beat by Mosley again won't prove anything. He should set his sights on some other guys at 154.

Its Vargas' fault so there shouldn't be a rematch. He knew Shane only wanted one more fight at 154 just as Shane knew this was vargas' last fight at jr middle. To me, the loser had to live with the loss. I voted no. Now, I'd buy the rematch because the first fight was so good but I think that Shane-Mayweather is the current biggest fight in the sport so I want to see that
