I think Bradley could outpoint that Martinez. Martinez looked really bad and a shell of his old self. Cotto fought very well and maybe he was a lot of the reason Martinez looked so bad.
Tim bradley vs the Martinez that fought cotto

Over 12 rounds? Its hard to picture that Martinez holding up full speed for 12 rounds leg wise. Bradley is also more durable than Cotto ever was and it's not like Bradley is a skinny little dude. Martinez even landing some leather wouldn't stop Bradley...not without sitting on his punches...
Question is, even if Bradley isn't hurting Martinez, is he GOOD enough to out jab a crippled but still longer Martinez? I'd wager on a lot of movement and put a strain on the knees just circling non stop and changing direction. But we all know Bradley has ankle problems in his big fights lolLast edited by NearHypnos; 07-18-2014, 03:01 PM.Comment

I'm not saying he was prime. My point is we don't know how the fight would have played out if Sergio didn't get hit with that left hook. It clearly affected his performance and happened within the first minute of the fight.Hey man stop ok...Cotto won and is the middleweight champ..but damn no need to act like Martinez was prime or in top form..he was slow no power and looked horrible..but none of that is Cotto's fault..he beat the lineal champ and is now the lineal champ..but Martinez is doneComment

You don't know that man..You just want to take credit away from Cotto.
Give it up hater..I see right through it.
That left hook would've hurt 99% for all the fighters that would've gotten caught with it..
You act like Cotto doesn't have Puerto Rican Power Punches.
It's a real thing homie and it's so nice, you don't want to get hit twice..

Pretty much. But if you ask that question tim just gets ****ted on. Like Cotto is so much more superior than him. And tim don't deserve to be in the ring with him. I think it would be a great fight personally.
People seem to forget Cotto looses all his big fight.Comment

Cottos marvelous left hook!! It stopped Margaritos dead on his tracks and was scared to come forward, it pinned Trout into the corner and made him succumb to the all powerful "puerto rican" left hook. Give me a break. Martinez during his middleweight king days was in with the best and bigger fighters all the time and beating the **** out of them. He was a big favorite for a reason. We missed what coulda been a great competitive fight because Sergio was without properly functioning knees. He was a sitting duck in there. Everyone but Cotto fans know this wasnt the same Maravilla who would explode of the back foot with combinations left and right. I knew his knees were done when he was fighting with his hands up the whole fight. Anytime Cotto would touch him it looked like he was gonna fall of a cliff lol. Cotto looked great but he wasn't even close to being put through the test. He won be default. You don't know that man..You just want to take credit away from Cotto.
