As reported by BoxingScene’s Rick Reeno, powerful boxing adviser Al Haymon has added more names to his increasingly large list of fighters. Among them: Minnesota middleweight Caleb Truax.
Truax caught up with BoxingScene.com briefly to talk about what this signing could mean for him.
“It was something that we had been working on for a while, and I thought it was just the right move to make, because he gets guys big fights — and he also has a few middleweights that are big fights that I’d like to get in there with,” Truax said. “We talked about Danny Jacobs and Peter Quillin, and now it seems like David Lemieux is on Showtime. That’d be an easy fight to make. Fernando Guerrero, he’s a middleweight. Jermain Taylor, it’d be nice to get a rematch with him. I think it was just the right move.
