Did anyone else make some money off the Canelo fight? I bet at 5dimes, caught the early odds and scored a good bet with -135 on the over 6 1/2. By the time they adjusted it the odds moved to -320 over 9 1/2. Anyways just trying to touch base with other bettors, swap predictions.

I put £25 on a draw at 23/1, which would have won me something like £575. I thought I was in with a good shot after the final bell. Alas, it was not to be.

Dang you almost had it. That 117-111 card must've been annoying to hear. I also just dropped $120 on Wlad over Pulev at 6/1...I'm basically writing it off as a 2 month government bond. Those Klitschkos are money in the bank.

Personal experience I wouldn't use the websites unless you don't have any other choice. What I am about to recollect happened to me on two occasions. I put £50 on one of the 'bigger' betting sites. Over the space of around 8-10 months I built my balance/winnings up to over £1,000.

On the first website when it came to trying to withdraw the winnings they said they needed to see several different forms of I.D., basically had to prove over and over again that I am myself, went through this for about 3 months before they released my money. When they did release it they'd taken a large percentage through some petty 'charges' and 'fees'.

The second company said I couldn't withdraw my winnings until I'd put on another £500 bets. I done this on some bets which I thought as sure wins and lost a little, but then they made me do it again, and again and again. Basically wouldn't release the winnings until I lost over half of it.

The problem with online betting, if you research, the holding companies are usually based in some far flung, tax-free country where they can't be called to account for any shady business.

It can be a little sketchy betting online. Be sure it's a reputable site that doesn't charge you to withdraw. Also browse their lines. Some sites hardly dabble in boxing, others do. Also compare to see whose generally got the best odds. Remember that the sites that open odds early are typically better to make money on, as lines tend to move drastically the closer a fight gets.

I want to start betting on soccer (European), but I'm afraid that a lot of bookies are scammers. I've tried to google, find a lot of bookies lists (like this or this). But not sure about their reliability. Need advice.
