let me say im not a fan of either guy, but floyd does make sense, maidana said he won the first fight, so why cant he "win" again without his special gloves?...also why does a guy whos gonna have a 20-25 pound weight advantage so concerned about some damn gloves, if he believes in his power a KO would come no matter what gloves he wears. . and it seems theyre already setting the excuse on the table if they lose, "i didnt wear my special gloves" , so if he truly feels at a disavantage then why fight ??.. maidana should be more concerned about who the ref will be, because after landing 14 rabbit punches in round 1 (i counted) hes lucky the fight even continued.. Mark my words if its kenny bayless and maidana pulls the same mess he will be DQ'd and rightfully so. the hate floyd gets its so potent that people dont give a damn whether he gets hit with clean or dirty blows, they want him to lose by ANY means.

He still doesn't get it, they are pulling him out of the script he's been on since the showtime deal. He had to come out in the press conference and thank everyone and their mama. How much of this throws Floyd off his game, but it's gotta bite him that he can't really answer all this stuff the way he could as little as two years ago. Maybe it makes him more aggressive, maybe not but Maidana and Garcia can go to any low they want, they don't answer to showtime.
