Would be nice if Maidana and Robert Garcia acknowledged what most of us already know.. The first fight was "competitive" ONLY cause Floyd wanted to entertain the fans. Was a smart move when you think about it cause now he gets to cash in on this rematch and completely school Maidana with lateral movement the same way Devon Alexander did. Not to mention Floyd will have his own ref in the ring to prevent team Garcia/Maidana from implementing the same kind of dirty boxing gamplan he used in the first fight.. If Canelo couldn't catch Floyd clean enough to k.o. him, neither will Marcos.

Dude, Floyd himself admitted right after the fight at the post fight press conference that he only fought that way to entertain the fans and that his father was against it. Floyd could've easily slipped off the ropes before Marcos could ever get the chance to do that grappling crap he was doing, but he stood on the ropes to give the fans some excitement.. I've seen the fight a bunch of times already and Floyd beat Marcos to the punch throughout the entire fight. The only moments Marcos had where he appeared to have the advantage was when Floyd was against the ropes. Floyd is smart enough to make the simple adjustment of keeping his back off the ropes as much as he can this time and sticking to a basic stand-up boxing hit and move fight the way he did against Canelo.
