Rigo can go to any promotional company he wants but who is there for him to fight besides LSC? 122 is like one of the absolute weakest division in boxing
As good as he is, Rigo has got to move up to 126 if he wants the big fights. It's as simple as that
Sucks his fight is not on HBO but looks who he's fighting. Some random Thai.... And the problem is that there simply isn't much better in the division that are realistic options.Comment

Are you kidding? At that weight there's LSC, Scott Quigg, Carl Frampton, and Kiko Martinez.
In a perfect world Rigo goes to Showtime and they do a 122 lb version of the bantamweight tournament they had a while back.Comment

I said LSC. I didn't meantion Frampton, Quigg or Kiko because they won't fight him.
Maybe Kiko. But Quigg and Frampton are not fighting Rigo. (IMO)Comment

This is the time for Rigo to score a big KO. That way he rises above a Unimas level card to something better for the fight after this one. If ever there was a pivotal moment in his entire career, this is it to make a statement. I'd like to see how he does against the other top fighters in his division. Someone needs to rise to the top of that division with box-offs.Last edited by richardt; 07-17-2014, 10:06 AM.Comment

Do you know what fights HBO is going to air, besides Shiming? I thought for sure Viloria would be on. That is one weak-ass card. Even Rigo's fight is weak, but at least it features the 122 king and P4P fighter. Who could they possibly find worthy of broadcasting along with Shiming, the guy they're desperately trying to market, over Rigo?Comment
