Excessive Running inside the Ring, WBO/WBC/IBO/IBF/etc. are you listening?

I hear you Canelo after the fight. If all boxers just run inside the ring, would you think boxing becomes realy boring and nobody would like boxing anymore?

Would boxing organizations finally put an end to this style of boxing and have the referee and boxing judges put some points penalties to the boxer for excessive running?

I don't expect all of you to agree with this, but I think something has to be done about this, if the sport of boxing has to survive.

Honestly I agree too much running will kill the sport... It should be banned but who knows how they can stop it... Only thing I can think of health comes first though lol

Just insist on an 18ft ring. Lara would've been knocked out.

It's not up to the sanctioning bodies, it's up to us.

The fans vote with their dollars and viewership.

I am a fan of Lara and had him winning. Saying that; the fans are the only reason professional boxing exists, and the Cuban amateur style does not make for compelling entertainment. If fighters aren't willing to engage and be offensive, I have no sympathy when they complain about making peanuts compared to the stars in the sport.

Rigo got the ****ing shaft, however. Dude almost stopped Donaire and then gets kicked off TV because he won? Bull****.

Hasn't he been back on HBO since that? I think he posted low numbers v Agbeko.

Yuriorakis Gamboa is the only Cuban fighter neutral fans would take to, loved his effort v a bigger Crawford.

Or maybe its because he posted up the lowest ratings in HBO history? (as well as emptying out the 90% of the arena)
