lol some pac fans really do only watch 1 or 2 fights a year!! Algeri vs provo was "close" while neither would be in ANY league as Pac or Floyd. I would have even boycott a provo fight. feeding us garbage fights! Then you guys say others are less deserving? Danny Garcia, Thurman, Porter, Canelo, Cotto, Marquez, Guerrero and even glass chin khan have more of a legit reason for a payday.

      BUT

if Floyd is expected to reach out and make a fight with Pac (toprank fighter) we should hold Pac to the same standards and expect him to make fights with GBP fighters.

The lack of consistent opinions is what makes the fight lack credibility. I'm sure if I peruse your post history I will find posts where you claim Floyd is ducking Pac, but by the same logic the inability for Pac to make fights with GBP fighters should mean he is ducking the whole GBP stable.

Now I don't agree with this at all, but you have to realize that by stating one thing explicitly you imply the opposite idea on the other spectrum.
      nope...

i mentioned "at this point" as there is a lot of expectations on tr, al haymon and gbp fighters having a go at it...

and i have no issue on the list of fighters you gave..

however, the tr, al haymon and gbp fighters could not yet be matched as there are still legal impediments....

should you care to know, i am a pac fan as i am a filipino...

i rate him higher than floyd not because his a countryman but based on what he had already achieved...

and i respect pac...i respect the choice he made now considering the situations of the promoters...not only on the credentials of other fighters..

he fought ortiz and guerrero. guerrero wasn't even a champ(except in his own mind) and ortiz was a one win wonder like algeri except algeri proved he wasn't a mental midget like ortiz is.

He does have heart, no question. Pac will beat his ass though but what the hell, it's a decent fight so make it happen. Algieri won't be able to hurt Pac and he will get jacked up but it could be interesting.

The combined record of all his opponents is 166-103-18 (if my math is correct) and he's never fought outside of New York.

Im a big fan. And we can sugarcoat it all we want. But this is a pointless fight at this point of his career. No story. No nothing. Just little business. Waste of time and for what's left on his tank. This would just add another wrinkle and i doubt it would light a fire on his belly. He'll be more excited to coach kia motors than to fight this guy. If a person doesnt have the hunger to fight someone that is where things usually go wrong. Unlike floyd he gets his hunger on his zero not on his opponents. We ask for new fights not for recycled ones, but this is not what we meant.

Pacquiao takes on people with a style not suited for him, that makes him great.
