My points about rios v many were 1, Alvarado had beaten Rios the previous fight and 2, the reasoning behind Arum saying Alvarado couldn't fight were BS. Stop making it out to be a continued attack on Manny. That doesn't refute or compromise my point about this or any other fight.

you are watching because you like manny and want to see him win by KO. to act like scoring the KO is the main point is ******ed.

you wont admit fandom is the reason you are watching. you are trying to pretend this is an epic or compelling matchup that had to be made. you surely would criticize any other top fighter in a fight that opened 14-1.

respecting fighters and commenting on a crappy fight are 2 entirely different things.

You can respect Manny and alfgieiri while criticizing this fight.I haven't disrespected either manny or algieiri at any point in this discussion. The fight I have utterly trashed because manny should not be fighting this level of fighter at this point- a sentiment expressed by dozens of posters, even those who worship Manny as much as you.

His interview on TV went really well. If he worked at it (who knows he may have) he would be a great analyst for TV. I could see a mainstream network like CBS or NBC using him.

I'm gonna go on record......Algeri beats Pacquiao. Algeri can't be outboxed by anyone at 140 and only by Khan Mayweather and Bradley at 147. Quote me on that. Algeri is gonna be helped by the extra weight and he has a awkward style .....
