i don't like this fight at all... but pac is an exciting fighter so i'd still buy this fight.

i hope someday somehow fraud can grow some balls and fights pac.

What is the legit argument against this fight? I haven't heard a single one.

Aint no one in the top-ten NOT signed with Haymon/GBP except Timmy and Marquez. GBP and TR may want to start working together, but they aren't going to co-promote a big fight right out of the gate. Top Rank has to look in-house again.

I would have rather seen Provodnikov get this shot, but how can you guys hate? Algeri fought his heart out and is now getting a payday, and Manny is fighting someone not coming off a string of losses/mixed results. Nothing wrong with this bout.

There's actually nothing wrong with this fight. Algieri is a naturally bigger mover coming off a big win,could be a tricky fight for manny.

How Pac stays in the top 10 p4p is beyond me. Lately, He has done nothing but fight smaller mediocre guys below his weight class.

This guy is not smaller than PAC. Pacs a small ww who can make 140 easy. The guys like barely 5"6 too.

Algieri is 5"10 with 72" reach. He's a nice mover who can box well at range. We don't know how PAC matches up with a guy like that. Dlh was the same size but had no legs left. Margarito was bigger but he's slow footed and fights completely differently, right there to be hit.

This fight genuinely intrigues me.

I can't believe there's actual guys defending this fckery. So what this chris algierri thing "can box", he still aint done sht in the sport, barely beating ruslan is damn sure nothing special, it might be a big thing in Top Rank's world but it aint sht in the real boxing world.

This may actually be a good way to gouge how Pac could do against Floyd...yes I know Algeri is no way near the elite caliber of a boxer but it's an interesting style, he brings height, reach and non-stop lateral movement.

Could pose quite a frustrating style for anyone, including Manny...very interesting fight, slim pickings for Pac.

That's actually more of a good thing for Algieri who previously fought at 140.
He's also sparred with Maidana, Canelo, Rios. Yea, sparring doesn't mean much. But he's said the sparring sessions helped him gain confidence that he can compete with these guys at this level.
