IMO, He gave Maidana rematch because he logged on to NSB and saw the majority of "real" fans like you, d4thincarnation, hugh grant, spoon23, Beercules and Hectari felt the fight was a draw or maidana won and as such deserved a rematch.

How was he to know when he gave you what you asked for you would change your position as soon as the rematch was announced.

Very risky fight for Pacquiao, Chris is a high risk low reward bout, a taller and bigger mover with long reach.

Pac could have took on a tailormade opponent like Floyd is doing with Maidana but instead he is fighting his weakness a slick mover.

Chris can move like Lara and everyone who has criticized Pac will tell you this is a stylistic problem for Manny, he can;t fight movers.

Chris is like Lara the ultimate mover, gotta give Pac mad respect and props for taking on a hungry young undefeated guy like Chris, he is giving some new blood a shot at least and a guy who presents him huge problems in the ring.

They should make this on Regular HBO though not PPV. treat the fans Arum, give us one free fight with Pacqiuao, like you used to do with Oscar from time to time.

Chris is a live dog, he just pulled off one of the biggest upsets dont you ever INSULT a fighter he showed his heart and determination he is no bum thati s for sure he beat one of the most feared men in Ruslan, many wanted Ruslan to fight Pac but Pac is fighting a WINNER instead many of you said he only fights guys coming off of losses, well he is fighting a guy coming off a huge win, so in actuality you floyd fanboys aka Pac haters have no room to talk he is fighting someone that you guys say he never would, he is a stylistic nightmare for pac, study it, he isnt a big name but he presents a style problem he is tall and moves and boxers off the back foot.

Not tailormade like Maidana, if Floyd fought Crhis Algieri over Maidana I would give him props, I want to see Floyd fight someone with speed, someone slick and is not flat footeda nd moves a lot with stamina.

From what I'm hearing, Hectari, d4th, jom's, hugh grant have all preordered. JoeMan and Cgarcia will order once they pay their cable bills. Straightleft and Richardt are having a VIP party for the fight-bring a frozen turkey over and they let you in for free. Evol is not a big manny fan any more and just a casual boxing fan. Kuyukut, Fcastro1 and Pacfan set up a tent and slept outside the arena for tickets. They call it Pacville-a cheap rip off the duke fans. Spoon23 is gonna order after he drinks 5 cases of Tecate and gets his rebates from the manny/rios fight.

Without you, beercules, mak, bojangles and shade darkar buying the fight, Algieiri hs no chnace of making his $500 ppv upside bonus. Unless divine hammer fleeces his flock after he passes around the collection plate.

i'm genuinely excited for this fight. while most people are hating because algieri is a relative unknown, they are missing the fact that algieri has the tools to give pac a tough fight.

nice to see pac fight two intelligent slick boxers back to back as opposed to fighting a slow plodding low IQ brawler back to back.

So that's the problem. Either way, any other opponent will seem inexperienced against PAC.

What makes Thurman and Porter that much better than Algieri. Both Thurman and Porter haven't beaten much or any big named opponents.

Khan? What has he done lately. Beating a journeyman fringe contender? Losing a couple in his last 4 or 5 fights.

Guerrero? Do I have to go there?
Broner? People would still nitpick since Broner lost to Maidana recently.

Let's get real and face reality. There aren't enough big name opponents to make epic fights each time.

Is this a great fight with momentum? No... But don't fool yourself thinking, there were many better options.

all the fighters you mentioned have actually fought and defeated ww's except one-Algieiri. Maybe thats why people are complaining he is getting a shot at a ww belt and a huge payday against manny.

I do agree with Hectari on this fight being a Risk with Very low reward fight. Which makes it a ****** fight for them to make. High Risk? I dont think so. But ive seen big upsets in this sport before. The fight makes No ***ing sense at all. Hell some people thought Ruslan won that fight. Id rather see Manny fight Ruslan even with him holding the Loss. Its a better fight IMO. I do know that "Haters" will take this to another level. In which will be retaliated by Manny fans. I normally would join in and stand my ground. But ....I cant on this one. Im pissed that Bob is making this fight. I know all the reasons why as well. I give Floyd hell all the time for the same thing. But i know floyd Fights for Money...not Fans. Manny...is supposed to take fights on that the fans want to see or would be interesting for fans to see. This is not one of them. I also agree with Joms...this fight is what it is. Its no debate. Like it or not. I personally wont buy it. Im appalled that TR would PPV this event. Im gonna enjoy watching how Bob is gonna sell this event. Bottom line...its a shlt fight.
