I saw that sparring footage of Rousey against Darchinyan who is much smaller than Floyd and it looked like a man vs a little girl. As much as I would like to see a woman whoop Floyd, to insinuate Rousey can or would do it is ridiculous.

The whole boxing vs MMA thing get's on ****** levels and I hate when boxers go into MMA to get their asses kicked just to prove MMA fans point.
The real point is, an MMA fighter going strictly into a boxing match against a skilled boxer, he's gonna get schooled. A boxer going into an MMA match is going to look clueless in there, especially on the ground.
With that said, I don't watching boxing because I think it's the end all, be all of combat sports and definitive self defense technique. No, I watch it as a sport and craft. They don't call it the sweet science for nothing. I watch it for that.
If I want to watch more of a fight that is based off street fighting attributes in that, yeah I could probably throw someone down more successfully in the street if I study in MMA techniques, I'd go with MMA. But I don't like watching legalized street fights because on the ground does nothing for me for my entertainment value.

I also won't deny I have viewed some MMA matches that had some crazy standup game and they were highly entertaining. For anyone that wants to see a crazy 10 second beginning of a fight, look up Diego Sanchez vs Clay Guida. Crazy.
