Please explain to me how it's ****** for him to compare one situation where he believes the padding in the gloves was manipulated to another situation where the padding in the gloves was removed. And hasn't it been Maidana and his team that made all of the fuss about the gloves since the fight?

I just find the resto comparison in bad taste. I got his point, I just don't think the resto fight should've been used.

Mayweather sbould stop complaining about the gloves. And just meet him halfway on this
and let him wear some type of a punchers glove but not the ones he was going to use in tgere first fight.

Why is it that floyd has to stop doing what a sides have done for years? It would be nice if he did, but he has the right to use his power the way he wants.

That is why, after the the initial "gloves gate" I wrote here that Floyd just killed the sport.
Now everybody is engaged in endless and absurd arguments about using (or not using) some regular boxing gloves... And even building hype around such a trivial issue...
I reiterate: I lost any interest in such a rematch or in whatever will follow this.

But I'm sure you watched Mosley vs Margarito after there was a "fuss" made about Margarito's illegal hand wraps.

Not for nothing, but hagler srl wasn't a 50/50 purse split. Hagler got a guaranteed 13 mil while srl got something like 10 or 11. Hagler pretty much spotted srl the ring size, gloves, even 12 rounds instead of 15. Thats how confident Hagler was. On top of that, Sugar Ray, really couldn't give Hagler anything, as Hagler was just as "a" side as sugar was by the time they fought. Floyd Maidana is Floyd not spotting Maidana jack because Maidana doesn't have a leg to stand on
