Maidana is a puzzy if he needs a certain type of glove to win.

So what does that make Floyd, exactly? Pretty sure an argument can be made that he needs maidana to wear a certian type of glove to win, as well.

i think it comes down to a trust issue, the first pair of gloves were denied by the commision because they looked tampered, plus being wrapped in suran wrap? cmon so floyd's trust was broken first time out why should he trust the second pair as well? they ordered those power lock gloves that were shipped there brand new. i think thats why there was a glove issue and why maidana was not allowed to wear the second pair as well. imo but they could have ordered a new pair of mx gloves too,cleto reyes are made of the same material too so idk

Even if there was some defection with those gloves, there shouldn't have been a problem when they put forth the other brand new, untouched pair of gloves that were the same make.

It has nothing to do with Floyd's trust being broken, because Maidana did nothing to break that trust. It was Floyd being a petty douchebag, like he always is.

Antoher info he got wrong was that Margarito did not had loaded gloves, his hand wraps were the ones with a conciled stuff.....

iam not saying garcia or maidana had anything to do with it, but something was up with those gloves and in a prizefight where 2 fighters put their lives on the line for money and to provide us entertainment it should be fought on a even playing field....no padding on first pair= red flags, floyd as the a-side has the right to deem any glove thats not made to regulation standards not wearable...agree to disagree.....floyd didnt know what was going on so he couldnt help but react that way... any fighter would, its only common sense.

Because the commission said those other gloves were ****, as well. I will say though, I just found out about the first pair not passing I thought Floyd was just being a diva, he still was but it was understandable this time. Also, wtf is up with Garcia this guy has zero ****ing class and I don't mean the trash talk. Rios got busted for steroids, they tried loading Margarito up with some **** before the Manny fight. There was nothing up with those gloves. They had exactly the same padding as the second pair that no one except Floyd and Ellerbe had a problem with. The idea that there was no padding in the rejected pair is incorrect. It's a false claim Mayweather apparently is going to repeat over and over.

They tried to bring in a neutral pair to move past the issue, and Floyd still threw a b*tch fit because that's the kind of paranoid a**hole he is.
