are you sure it did 400? Even Gatti-Mayweather didn't come close to that. THats impressive if true. I think that Mayweather-Judah certainly lost some buyers with the loss to Baldomir but it wasn't gonna be a huge fight for the casual fan anyways. It would have been an internet boxing fan

I saw that Floydtalk.com says Shane said it in a chat. He and Fernando get a percentage too. I'm trying to figure out why Vargas got a million more than Shane as a guarantee if their percentages were even. I don't buy Fernando as being more of a draw than Mosley, Mexican or not

He has a BIGGER mouth...so he's a BIGGER draw lol...but Mosley is no slouch either. Basically it wasn't a situation where only ONE guy was the draw which was the case with Gayweather-Gatti in Atlantic City...now we all know who carried that fight and was the draw and fan favorite lol.

well of course it won't... the names Shane Mosley and Fernando Vargas are much bigger in the "general" boxing publics opinion than Floyd Mayweather and Zab Judah. Plus if anyone were to ask a "hardcore" boxing fan if it's worth buying, they'd almost unanimously say no because Mayweather's just too good.

The sad part is someone with Gayweather's ability is not exposed to the "general" public sports fan. Why? Well he's the Roy Jones Jr Part 2. Of course the "hardcore" boxing fans want to see this...I'll see it (illegally of course). I doubt if Gayweather could ever garner that many PPV buys w/out the HELP of a name fighter like DLH, Vargas, Morales, Pacquiao.

But we can modify the bet...Gayweather-GlassJaw =< 100k buys?

yes vargas mosley will outsell pbf vs scab.
1. vargas being mexican-american gets tha american and mexican fans to buy his fight, and he's exciting.
2. shane draws in all tha blak fans
3. shane n vargas r big names
