    How can Floyd win easier?

I see Maidana II exactly the same fight as the first. I thought Floyd closely won the first. What does or can Floyd do to win easier if that is possible. He'll try to move more but if he can't hurt Maidana I'm not sure how he'll keep Maidana from swarming all over him again.

Clinch into position, make sure Maidana doesn't close the distance.

He could also be more active as well, Floyd tends to thrown no more than 450 ish punches a fight.

I have to agree, I don't think it will be as simple as "box and move more" because i think Maidana will generally usually find some way to make a fight out of it. There's a few adjustments Floyd can make to improve on the first fight and maybe win by a slightly larger margin but i think their clash of styles will generally lend itself to being quite similar. Also, a different referee..

However, on the other hand, for Floyd to take the rematch, one would have assume it's because he saw or felt something in that ring that could he could make an easier nights work out of in the rematch. He was in the ring with Maidana so he might have seen something we didn't. I'm a fan of Floyd but i call a spade a spade and i don't think he would take the rematch unless he's convinced he can make it easier work and we know Floyd is a smart guy inside the ring so i'd have to think this is part of the reason he took it. If he felt it's a huge risk i think he'd have settled for the win last time and moved on.

Obviously it may be one of the best money fights available for him at the minute but one thing Floyd puts before money is his fear of losing i think, because that is his money and selling point.

Knock 5/6 years off his age, make Maidana wear bigger gloves, 10 round fight. 2 judges in pocket and a ref on his team too. This would make it EASIER, that is all.

On a serious note i think business wise it will sell better than the 1st fight because of the garnered interest due to the previous bout. So he'll be getting paid even better one would assume....

As mentioned earlier, maybe Floyd felt something, or was on to something he felt he could exploit during the fight/after re-watching and analyzing the fight, the May team will have something up their sleeves or else he wouldn't re-match Marcos. But Marcos and Garcia will obviously come in with their subtle adaptations too.

I don't think Floyd hammered Maidanas body enough, maybe he should invest more in that....kill the body, slow it, makes it harder to cut the ring off, easier for floyd to keep on his bike? Only Money knows the answer to your question......

Mayweather will have to stay off the ropes this time. He was able to do it against Guerrero. Maidana was more successful when he had Mayweather up against the ropes. I was impressed how Maidana was able to mix up brawling and boxing when he wanted to but I definitely thought Mayweather won. I can't imagine the fight going the same way it did last time but if it does, Mayweather has another long night on his hand.

IMO I think Floyd knows he didn't truly win against the supposedly inferior opponent and wants to right the wrong.

As for what he can do differently, I say get a new more bias ref.

Nothing, he's gonna get caught and KO'd cold like Roy Jones Jr did against Tarver.

Get the Ref on his side even earlier.

In the very first round Look for Floyd to turn to the ref Just as his elbow's connecting with Maidana's jaw and say "C'mon Ref! he be all up in ma face an shiet!"

A referee like Robert Byrd would be a start. He'll stop and reset the action the very moment Mayweather initiates a clinch, just like he did in the Guerrero fight.
