looks like you're salivating too much on algieri beating pac...

for the good of boxing? better for hectari, for you and for floyd & his followers?

pac & floyd so far not happening is no excuse for such wishful thinking...

anything can happen, and algieri may indeed upset pac...and hope it benefits boxing...

not just the vested interests of a few...

Chris has the skills, the looks, the personality, he will capture white America which is a market that has been taken over by UFC, boxing needs a Chris Algieri win big time.

He will be the new guy in boxing that is extremely marketable and he is the anti Mayweather in terms of personality and the way he carries himself with class and humbleness.

I remember people doubted me when I said Chris can outbox Ruslan easy, I said Chris had the boxing skill to box circles around him the only other option is Ruslan knocks him out early.

But Cris impressed me he showed heart and will.

A upper middleclass white boy with the heart of Rocky and the boxing skills of willie pep. He is the underdog, and if he beats Manny he will be an instant star.

Arum and HBO need to push him right away he can fight anywhere from 140-154 with his size, he is 5 foot 10 and can fight from any weight.
Yes, it would be nice if there was an insanely talented and charismatic guy who could take over boxing when Floyd and Manny retire.

BUT Algieri is clearly not that guy, and him beating Manny would mean only one thing: that Manny is shot beyond repair. How would that be good for boxing?

Since when did every fan become a mini bob arum, king,Schaefer, etc... Who gives a **** about anything from a marketing standpoint.

An Algeri win over PAC would be good for the sport because it would be another example of a money grab by a promoter backfiring on him because nothing is a sure thing in the sport, "the theatre of the unexpected" ... Not because he's a middle class white boy with a degree. Or because boxing "needs to tap into the mma market" ... That's nonsense.

Stop trying to "create" story lines and build fighters up based on looks, nationality, race etc... That's everything wrong with the sport to begin with and the real promoters who are currently building these bums up are much better at it then some of you "armchair promoters" ... B-s-ing is an art form, stay in your lane.

Oscar was shot when Pacquiao and Floyd beat him.

Listen man if HBO pushes Chris hard he can be a decent draw a Cotto level around 450-600k buys on average type draw.

He can speak well, he is college educated, and lets be honest if he can capture White America it will help boxing, most of the white people seem to still think negative of boxing saying its for thugs and arrogant greedy guys like Mayweather.

Look at georges St Pierre a very boring fighter he is consider a runner mover but he is a huge draw in UFC and never gets knockouts but technically sound.

Boxing needs new blood, and an underdog star like Chris would help tap into the White middle class market that UFC was able to get into.
