True Boxing fans like most people on the forum because if they were casual, they wouldn't have joined, but some on this site may be casuals. True Boxing fans reaction.

Man this fight sucks. This fight shouldn't be happening, this fight is a joke, Boycott this fight immediately.

No difference with Floyd fights...oohhh Floyd is fighting again. Same *****.
Only difference is, no one is going to pay for this fight and most likely no one will know about it.


Regardless of "true boxing fans"...whoever is fighting they will watch it stream/ppv whatever, they will still watch the fights.

How could anyone complain about Floyd actually fighting fighters that got decent wins in his weight class, even picked up a title along the way, while Arum makes fights with pac facing 140 fighters???

And it's not like Algieri is the undisputed #1 140 fighter in the world.....if you're going to fight someone from 140, it better be the #1 guy there like Hatton was in 2007 and Bradley was in 2012.

Floyd fought these guys:

- Hatton looked very beatable in his only fight at 147
- Marquez NEVER fought at 147
- Ortiz was knocked down twice in his only fight at 147. QUIT against Maidana at 140 and drew the fight before Berto.
- Sharmba was not a 147 fighter but Floyd fought him there
- Maidana got the fight with Floyd because he beat Broner who was not considered a 147 fighter and went back down. Maidana lost to another boxer named Devon Alexander ..... so Floyd took that fight (plus see below)
- Guerrero again beat Broner, I mean Berto! Didn't you learn the first time what that meant? and beat another guy that went back down to 140

To top it all off, Maidana will not be allowed to use his preferred punchers gloves and Floyd promised that the ref will make sure that he calls everything that Maidana does and doesn't do while Floyd will continue to elbow, hold, .....

FINAL POINT: Floyd would have fought Khan if Maidana didn't look good against Broner. Yes, the Khan that hadn't fought at the 147 limit.
