    Who you talking about, Pulev?

Thompson is a heaps good opponent, one of the best American HW's for a long time.

    "But he's 40 doe!"

Not to mention an experienced HW and 250lbs and a solid record, yeah let's forget all of that and call him a bum so we can call Pulev a bum for ONLY UDing him.

I don't think Fury would beat Pulev at all! This is not bloody Cunningham and it isn't even Chisora.

This time I think WK has picked the best opponent. Fury can earn his way to the top, only David Haye can get away with just rockin' up to the top challenge, dunno how he does it though!

I think I am forced to agree on that one! Fury never really annoyed me and admittedly he does make me laugh

That's right, Laced Up IS British, of course! Makes sense now

I like Fury but he isn't the best contender imo. I think Fury would have struggled with Thompson.

People were seriously discussing how Price could have beaten Fury I remember until Thompson ended his career.

Pulev might not be as good as WK but he is pretty good.

Thompson is not a very good heavyweight, he's average at best. He's a little awkward, but that doesn't mean he's good. And he's certainly not the best American heavyweight for a long time. He's just been the only one in the last 2-3 years.

I think Pulev would get beaten by Fury easily. He's tough, I'll give him that, but he doesn't really have many skills and Fury is much quicker on his feet and punches harder.

Pulev has no chance of beating Wlad. Let's get it straight.

You've got to be able to see the difference between him clowning around and him being serious.

Don't make me laugh. I've hated on Fury more than anyone on this forum, but I think he's turned it around and turned himself into a really good heavyweight.

Yes Pulev is pretty good. I just think Fury will beat him. So what?

I guess it's because Wlad is fighting Pulev now, so all the nuthuggers want to build him up to something he's not. He can't even draw flies to shyt in his home country. He's literally one of the worst heavyweights to watch. On level with Wlad.

Have you ever been to Bulgaria? I have, many times. I can tell you he is a real celebrity there, a true crossover star. Almost literally everyone at least knows who he is.

I'm not saying he is a huge global or even European draw, but the bolded part is pure nonsense.

What makes you think that? Who has he ever beaten to make you believe that he "turned himself into a really good heavyweight"? And don't say Chisora because we all know what version of Dereck Tyson fought

All that talk about Fury being a good HW on this forum started when he beat Kevin Johnson. Was that win really that good? Johnson is a guy who never takes a risk and fights only to survive. Since their fight Kevin lost to Hammer, Chisora and Charr for crying out loud.

Fury on the other hand went life and death with featherfisted CW Steve Cunningham and he didn't look that great against Abell because I remeber Fury being rocked by that guy a couple of times.

Tyson Fury hasn't done nothing to make people think he's a good HW or a top 10 HW for that matter. Will he prove us (o at least me) wrong? That remains to be seen.

There was nothing "average" about Thompson's career.

I have no specific problem with picking Fury over Pulev LacedUp, I am not going to pretend that there's a large gulf of talent there, there isn't! But labelling Pulev as a piece of **** is outrageous.

And yeah that's true, Fury is a good HW. He is fast and nimble for a big man, he is an accumulative puncher, not a power hitter but he does put a lot of weight behind them still which counts. He is getting better but let's not pretend he is the natural contender for the crown because he hasn't really proved that yet.

I think he has only slightly better than even chances against Chisora, and wouldn't be terribly surprised if he lost.

Fury vs Chisora is a very even fight!

The modern day Ali vs Frazier!
