His only focus is on training and fighting while everyone else handles the business aspect of it.
You can rest assured that Floyd is no rocket scientist. A genius inside of the ring, but that's about it. BUT, he is smart enough to know that and to have a team around him that has his best interest who can handle the business side of it. You don't need much smarts to dial a phone and say "Hello Mr. Haymon?"

No you didn't. Let's try this again:

Can you tell me when Manny attempted to negotiate prior to 2012? I don't mean talking to the media either.

That might be a consideration as well don't u think. Especially for someone who "fights for the fans"!

So you are telling me that you don't know that the ELITE...#2 PPV fighter in the world shouldn't AT LEAST explore other offers to see where the best deal is, before signing on the dotted line? I hope you are not silly enough to say he shouldn't......and in the same breath say you are not defending him.
The best fight can't be made and it's pac's fault? How old are again, really? So why don't u push and cry and complain for the other fighters to become a free agent so "u" can get the fights u want? Why blame one person?

If manny feels he's getting a good deal with TR why should he venture out just so "u" can be happy? How much have u invested on manny? Hell u even said ur not gonna but this fight so why should manny put himself and his family's future on hold just so he can make "u" happy by venturing out?

So because he did it, that means it was his best option? Why are u arguing that nonsense. He signed with TR and GB at the same time, was that his best option?

            I know 1+1=2
I know that he could get plan similar to what Floyd has and make much more money like ODH, Floyd and Cotto did.
I know he could have good a good manager and advisor handling most of the business.
I know that AT LEAST exploring your options gives you in business gives you a better view or your worth in the market.
I know he could make more money than what he is making
I know he could be his own man.
I know he could then make the fights that he says he wants to make...the ones "for the fans".
I know that he wouldn't give 27% to Rob Arum.
I know that we wouldn't be seeing Pac vs. Algieri

Floyd mentioned that he has lots of investments and he is well taken care of outside of boxing. I have to find the interview.

You are REALLY gonna sit there and mention best interest? Arum has Pacs best interest at heart? You make zero sense. Who was it again that was taking care of Pac's taxes again??

Not to mention. again Pac said time and again, "HE FIGHTS FOR THE PEOPLE". Do the people want to see the fights that can be made in house with Top Rank or what can be made with Pac as a free agent? I rest my Case!
I gave logical reasoning why PAC resigned with Top Rank.

You simply can't separate your own boxing fanboy wishes/hopes from that what makes business sense for a boxer/athlete. My responses have been purely from a business perspective. But unfortunately, you only think like a fanatical fan.

PAC is happy with his $19-20 million guaranteed fights. Happy with how he's been treated. He's happy doing other things outside of boxing when he's not fighting.

So he re-signed. He still wants the big fights. He still says he's open to fight Mayweather. If Floyd really wanted the fight, he'd make it happen.

No actually you defending Pac until the end. Let me ask you? Would I be foolish to say that a bank robber made a bad decision when he robbed a bank, got caught and is now doing 30 years? I'm not him, so how could I...right? Cuz that's ur logic here.

Simple, Floyd wants to be his own boss, manny doesn't. Just look at how they carry themselves. Floyd wants to be the one to determine how much ur gonna be making, etc. While Manny on the other hand will have no problems partnering up with another person to help one another out as long as PAC still gets his share of the cut.

In other words the packlas are saying if Manny is looking for the best money for the least risk, Manny is just being a smart business man and doing the best for himself and not for the sport or his fans. If Floyd does it his a coward and a scum of a human being
