So, The power punches won the fight ey??

I see a certain fanbase here defending the Canelo/Lara decision. Interesting stuff considering the (manner/logic) I've seen at least 1 of them use. I/m posting an example in the next post.

So Canelo won cause he landed a marginal amount of power punches more and looked like hot garbage doing it huh. Well then, to the partner I'm about to quote, no offense homey, I need an explanation here.

http://boxrec.com/media/index.php/Jo...._(1st_meeting) according to this, JLC landed (Way), more power punches than your guy, so how come you think your guy won bro??

And it wasn't a marginal amount neither, we talking double and then some what's good??

Round by round scoring is different than punch stat numbers.. No 2 fights are alike

Canelo won a close fight. I had it 6-5-1

You can't compare Jose Luis Castillo vs Mayweather to Canelo vs Lara.

Mayweather tried to win. And many see that as Mayweathers first actual loss because of Castillos activity.

it's a choice between power punches vs running around the ring like a headless chicken.

my choice is clearly the power punches 'cause it's boxing and not track and field.

The failing here is trying to attack one group with a completely unrelated fight as ammunition. Canelo is not "my guy" but he won and rightly so. Keeps that pattycake sht in the amateurs. I don't want to see boxing pussified with that point fighting style. Canelo brought a fight. Good for him.

I think Lara won by a point. Canelo punching the ropes doesn't count.

I'm sure all those left hands to Canelo's face were power punches
