Good fight, but Forrest was a caliber higher and better fighter.. His skills, especially the jab and uppercut would be enough to beat canelo..

If it's the 154 version of Forrest vs canelo, then Forrest would be too old and canelo beats him..

But a fantasy h2h in their primes, Forrest is better

Forest boxes Canelos ears off, makes him punch the ropes/air and Canelo fans will claim he ran.

I'm not sure I agree with the notion that Forest was "too old" during his tenure @ 154...

What did Forrest ever do at 154?

Dude didn't have a lot of significant wins there.. He got a gift vs Ike, beat a washed up baldomir, and had the draw and won over mora... All in his mid to late 30s and after long layoffs from injuries.. Their is a huge difference between welter Vernon 97-03 and the jr mid version from 05-08

Canelo has a much better resume at 154 and superior opponents at 154

                  Depends.

Is Forest's shoulder ****ed up again like it almost always was in big fights?

He wasn't "too old", he was too injured.
