Currently, Rigondeaux is the flagship. Lara ain't Rigo, not by a long shot. Landy isn't even as good as Gamboa, who just lost his "zero." Just these three guys have different styles. I happen to love watching Yuri fight, although he's not the master Guille is. But it doesn't stop there. You've got the cruiserweight champ Hernandez, who's got serious cojones, and is often in exciting fights. You've got heavyweight Mike Garcia, who's a fucking warrior. You've got Barthelemy, who's ballsy and turning into a nice fighter.

With just about 50 Cubans fighting worldwide, we've got five Cuban-born world champs. Mexico has like 6 or 7. Now, tell me the "Cuban School's limited."
Cuba has 4 world champs. Guillermo Rigondeaux, Rances Barthelemy, Richar Abril, and Yoan Pablo Hernandez. Who is the 5th?

Mexico has Francisco Rodriguez, Oswaldo Novoa, Juan Francisco Estrada, Carlos Cuadras, Leo Santa Cruz, Jhonny Gonzalez, Miguel Vazquez, and Carlos Molina, which is 8. And if you count Mikey Garcia and Omar Figueroa that's 10. When you Cubanas talk s**t about Mikey Garcia he's Mexican, but I'm sure when it comes to his world title you count that as American.

I love how you pieces of s**t always bring up the amount of pros Cuba has. You act like if all the Cubans could compete in the pros they'd all be world champs because you guys are so superior. But most likely they'd suffer the same fates as Gamboa, Lara, Salinas, Ugas, Santana, and Solis and get smacked the f**k down.

Is Lara with his "Regular" title the 5th Cuban champ? If so then Mexico's number would go to like 15-20 champs with all the bulls**t Interim and "Regular" titles.

      Keep being salty, puta.

You know what I don't get tho is how rigo career is being handled, you would think after destroying donaire who is a bad ass himself and made hime look ordinary would be out there more, now that's a master boxer that will fight you and put some power on his punches I would love to see him on these ppv under cards .dont get that one he's no Lara.

                    • Regardless of who you think won, Lara's long term marketing plan sucks!!! Apparently money is no object to him. How can he possibly have no desire whatsoever to be a star? He just threw away any chance of being a PPV attraction. If he sat in the pocket, he could have either won or fought on heart and been stopped but at least be trying and he would have made the boxing world want to see him again in a big way. He forfeited the opportunity to make himself a star. He will never be on a PPV headliner and he has himself to blame. People will pay for excitement and this exhibit by him lacked that. He did not have to stand and trade, just circle and use defense and stay a little in the pocket and he would have been respected more. He really lacked a long term marketing plan!
