  • Comments Thread For: Hassan N'Dam-Curtis Stevens on September 20th

According to Gary Hyde, manager of former WBO middleweight champion Hassan N'Dam N'Jikam (30-1, 18KOs), King Sports have submitted the winning purse bid for his fighter's final IBF eliminator with Curtis Stevens (27-4, 20KOs). The date of the fight, says Hyde, is September 20th in Santa Monica, California.

N'Dam showed a lot of heart when he lost the WBO title in 2012. He was dropped six times by Peter Quillin, who couldn't stop N'Dam and had to settle for a twelve round unanimous decision. Stevens (27-4, 20KOs) challenged WBA/IBO champion Gennady Golovkin last November and was stopped in eight rounds. [Click Here To Read More]

        Great fight for nbc sports..

I think it's a fascinating matchup and should be a good scrap.. N'dam has the tools to outpoint Stevens, so Stevens has to turn the pressure up on him and try and get him out of there or at least dropped

Stoked for this fight, Stevens is one my favorite fighters to watch. Hopefully he doesn't depend on his power the whole fight like he did with Johnson and breaks N'Dam down, but I don't see him changing his stripes. Rooting for Stevens but my money is on N'Dam because Stevens is just not that a good a boxer.

On NBCSN? That's a pretty damn good main event for them.

Don't think this will be on NBC Sports. Main Events lost the purse bid.
