I got the impression he was saying Alvarez has had an easy ride whereas Cotto came up tougher. Looking at their careers, I don't believe it's true.

Cotto got a decision over Mosley a lot felt he didn't warrant, same for the Clottey fight.

Look, even if Alvarez doesn't get the decision over Trout and Lara, you would have had everyone claiming Alvarez was robbed and he deserved better. He still would've been marketable and he still would've been at the top because he fought well enough to have enough people feeling he won.

As to Cotto-Canelo, it's a great fight which should happen next. I don't know who I'd pick to win.
