TONY BELLEW has vowed to end "scumbag" Nathan Cleverly's career when the pair meet again.
The Liverpool cruiserweight stopped Brazilian Julio Dos Santos inside five rounds in his hometown on Saturday.
And Cleverly, who had earlier beaten Alejandro Valori in four to keep up his side of the bargain, was ringside at the end and the pair almost came to blows after a heated exchange.
Security had to separate the two as Bellew tried to get out of the ring to attack his bitter rival.
Former light-heavyweight world champion Cleverly beat Bellew in 2011 - a decision the Liverpudlian still hotly disputes.
