That would be a huge fight which would be fun to watch unlike yesterday. Plus it would be a big payday for both of them what with their fan bases and the Mexico vs Puerto Rico rivalry.

    What's holding it up?

Because Golovkin will fight one or both of them. Cotto needs to retire as much as James Toney. Who cares about the countries boxing rivalry. I would take a lot of Joy watching two fighters I don't really like, Alvarez and Cotto, Getting Beaten and Battered by Golovkin.

Cotto already ducked canelo by saying 154 only... Alvarez might have grown out of that division and I'm a canelo fan but he can still make 155 but for how much longer comfortably and canelo said he won't jeapordy his career over weight if he feels it won't benefit him

Even though cotto fought Martinez at 155

This world doesn't revolve around you bruh.

As far as the original post,

Cotto vs Canelo most likely will happen in November I would think. Maybe next May. Aside from a fight with Pacquiao or Mayweather it makes the most business sense.
